AIEEE now JEE mains is conducted by CBSE for the entrance. I scored 180 out of 360 in AIEEE 2011.Now the JEE mains ranks are used by for entrance, by central counselling done by CBSE.

Course curriculum is as per AICTE and MHRD Guidelines.From first semester to last semester all course are detailed uploaded on the college sites. Some of the electives were Transportation Engineering, Minor and Major Project, Industrial Training,Water Resource, MIS. As research point of view, the course is neutral,it depends on student whether he wants to do or not. There is neither pressure nor any hindrance for research.

College provide many opportunities, in which main were Tata Steel , L&T Construction, Word Quant .And Internship in premier colleges of india. IISC, IITs, And foreign internship through DAAD.

Placement & Job Opportunities are best for Computer science. 80-85 % Placement.Branch wise best placement Computer Science, Mechanical, ECE, EEE, CE, Metallurgical. Package 3.9 lpa to 35 lpa .Companies L&T Construction, Godrej, JUSCO,Mu-Sigma, Paharpur Cooling Towers, TATA, BPCL.

Fee structure is controlled by MHRD.At my time it was 25550 per sem per now it has gone to 45500 and mess fees 16000 per sem.

Many scholarship are availed IOCL,OP Jindal, Central Gov. Scholarship, Bihar Economical backward scheme, Jharkhand Gov Scholarship. No tution fees for SC/ST Students Loan are easily availed through bank at our campus.(SBI RIT JSR).

Campus is full of real experience.From being junior to guiding other junior. From gaming events to Quiz events , From examination to tech fest , every is there at college, it is good but can be best.Gender ratio is not good but as a avg 1 :8 .All the activities, party and events are celebrated in college.

Alumni network is quite good, college is organizing Alumni meet every year, there is one team especially for alumni and industrial relationship.They are helpful, from placements to personal guidance, they are easily accessible by us.

Semester wise exam structure is followed.In which Two test T-1 ,T-2 and End Sem. Exam are conducted with respective subject wise teacher assessment and viva-voice.Hectic day during all classes running and especially at the end of semester where every examination and viva , report, test are being conducted.

Faculty are good but can be better. Some of the faculty are really best in their area .College needs more faculty in order to enhance the student - teacher ratio. Overall not bad and not best too.In my department teacher were really helpful and college is taking many initiative to recurit many good faculty.
