Remarks

Good as per my experience. It's now been converted to a deemed university and facilities are much better.

Entrance Preview

I dont remember the exam it was pre exam for MCA under state university and MAHARISHI Dayananad University.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was as per the university guidelines through which college was affiliated. Course curriculum is always as per the university in every college. But I feel university should update it as per market standards and demand now to give students deep inside of what thy have to work on during job independently.

Internships Opportunities

It was 6 months semester for internship and basis in the organisation we did internship we get stipend or no stipend. I Dnt remember much but infosys,hcl,niit,wipro,Hewitt and few less famous one too came for campus hiring in 2010 which was my passing year.

Placement Experience

Hewitt,Hcl,Infosys Wipro and few less famous came in for campus hiring during my tenure there.

College Events

Tech fest and few inter college events. One radio channel was also started by college. I was never a proactive part of those so can't add more here in detail.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive Per year fees was around 80-90 thousand and hostel fees was around 45 thousand as far as I remember but am not very sure. Better a current student should be asked these questions.

Fees and Financial Aid

I do not know about because I didn't wanted any loan. Scholarship was offered but not a very good amount. It was nominal.

Campus Life

Gender ratios was more off around 50 50. No biasing Hostel life was rocking enjoyed with seniors wardens guards faculty was too good to be remembered.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is always rocking. I loved that phase of my life be it friends hostel room or food. It was good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Am not in touch with my seniors and alumni any more. It was good at that time but with time I can't take out time to be in touch. But miss those days a lot as that was golden period of life.

Exam Structure

It was nominal. As per the university guidelines. One semester exams each semester and 2 rounds of sessional each semester too.

Faculty

It was well educated and experienced enough with good moral values to be given to students overall satisfied with the faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed to teach the basic and fundamental subjects of computer science to students. In each subject, the difficulty level is below moderate. There are some subjects which meet the industry standards and prepare students for jobs in market. But many subjects are out-dated and their syllabus is not upto standard mark of industry requirements. There is an urgent need to update the syllabus and make it more industry demands-oriented. The teaching methods used are good but some updates can make them more better. Less focus is given on practical knowledge and labs. In each semester, you will have sessional exams two times for all 5 subjects. In each year, there are two semesters and in each semester you will havee final exams in the month of December and May.

Placement Experience:

IN UG courses they get eligible after 4th semester and for PG they get eligible after 2nd semester. Names of the companies visited are Qikfox Inc, QSS Technosoft, Argusoft India Ltd, Decimal Technologies, CRTD technologies and no of offers made are around 10 - 20 the package lies is between 500000-1000000 Percentage of student geting placement are not true according to me by collage however it lies around 40 percent of students.

For the MCA you should have the subject like mathematic in graduation. And the admission process is following: 1. Application must be sunmitted online or offline through MR portal as well as college and pay application fee which is Rs 1200. 2. You need to upload or provides documents like Achedmics certificates. 3. Depending on the course yyou may need to take entrace exams such as MRNAT which is college entrace exams they also use this exam for scholarship.
