Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum was made keeping in mind a stress-free schedule for us. The course is of full time three years and hence as we have two semesters in a year, there are a total of six semesters in our course.

Placement Experience

The placements in our campus are of renowned companies and they give a good amount of stipend which boosts the students to earn more and improve their performance more. The selection of students for placements is based on the interview they give.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee of my course is quite cheap and can be easily afforded by the students coming from both rich and poor families, the students can also avail for scholarships if they have a good academic record.

Campus Life

Our campus has many labs which are fully equipped and are well maintained, if at all any device or instrument has any kind of malfunction, they are replaced or repaired immediately, there also is an enormous sports ground where various tournaments are held.

Admission

To get admission, I had to first apply to the college by filling the application form on the college website, then I submitted the marks scored in grade 12th on the basis of which the admission process was done.

We have highly qualified faculty members, who have a lot of experience in the teaching field they teach us really well and if at all we have any doubts or concerns regarding the subjects the teachers clear it and they are very supportive, if we are weak in the subject, the teachers guide us to learn well.

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.

My college life

I applied in this college because I did not have enough money to take education because my father is a farmer. Yes, I know from other colleges my college is not giving more quality to the students but giving education to those students who even does not think to study. Definitely I applied to other college. There I gave 3000 rupees but unfortunately when I got admission in KISS, they did not return my money. They took all 3000 rupees and said that you got admission in KISS which is free of cost residential school. We will not give to you money. There, admission process in +2 is offline but nowadays is online. Nowadays is online. When I admitted +2 in 2016 that time 80% cut off goes.
