Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum revolves around learning and performing practically, the art of designing accessories like jewellery, footwear, bags, interiors, and so much more. It is a 4-year course and the exams are conducted on semester basis.

Placement Experience

The placements are conducted on a centralised basis for all the NIFT colleges. Companies like Godrej, Tanishq, Titan, Reliance, and Adidas have come for the recruitment and deserving candidates have got a great job.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for every year is around Rs.2,71,000 to Rs.2,90.000. The total amount for the course is Rs.11,09,000/- which was quiet expensive for me to pay. But, this college has a scholarship program ranging between 25% to 100% on the basis of the financial status.

Campus Life

NIFT is involved in multiple of cultural and sports events that are carried on throughout the year. Every event like Converge, Pavilion and Craft Bazaar are so much fun that most of the students participate in them with enthusiasm.

Admission

The admission process for all the applicants include a written test conducted all over the university. Once the students have passed that exam, they have to attend a GD and personal interview on the basis of which admissions are finalised.

Faculty

The faculty is so fun and educated in their respective field. They know how to keep the students interested in this designing. They help us realise the value and prospects of accessory designing in the market today.

The curriculum is designed on lastest industry application. And the course is very relevant. It makes students ready for industry uses after 10 th class . The curriculum is engineering based after 10th and the exams are held each semester. Ther are 6 semester in every branch.

Other collages like NID which is considered very prestigious and India's number one design college, is very unique and different from nift which is only a fasion based coursive college, it has frequent fashion shows and events which only focus on Fasion related stuff, the course which the course which I took which is fashion communication promises to teach us animation and various other subjects like photography and videography film making and various other digital stuff but as I came across the course and teachings I got to know that it is only based on fashion related stuff and when the student goes into industry exposure it is very difficult for the student to work in an environment which is not based on fashion related stuff so NIFT is very different from NID.
