Course Curriculum Overview

In 3 years of the duration of the course total 6 semesters are conducted. Per year we have 2 semester exams and mid semester exams as well. The college course curriculum is very well structured by industry experts and offers wide range of career opportunities. The practicals are the main focus and industry visit is on of the part of course.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities is not very high in the college . The students mostly prefer to pursue MBA as their post graduation . The companies like Erricson , Nitco Tiles , TCS visit the campus . Various business firms also visit our campus for internships and competitions . The college has average placement rates. The placement cells are working on developing students in a holistic way.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible and does not put any financial burden on family. The fees for BBA course is around 40000 INR for one year . Being a professional course the college fees is kept a bit high but compared to other colleges the fees is really feasible.

Campus Life

The college is really good in terms if gender equality. There is no descrimination between anyone based on any grounds. Every student lives very freely and friendly in the campus. The college conducts workshops and seminars and guest lectures as well by very well and renowned personalities . The sports are held every month or so and we have a major sports competition which is conducted every year.

Admission

The college offers admission to the students on the basis of rank secured in IPU CET ( Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test ) . The college is affiliated to GGSIPU and the admission procedure is centralized to that university. Students after securing the required rank in the exam are then called for the document verification .

Faculty

The college faculty is more like a friend . They are so helpful and supportive that anytime we have any doubt they are always ready to clear it . All the senior faculties are highly qualified and graduated from top business schools of India . Their approach towards study is really interesting . While lectures we have small entertainment sessions which really creates an interesting atmosphere in the class.

Convenient and good as of now

Likes

I like the faculty and their way of teaching
Canteen area is nice and spacious for students
In break period students can go and have fun in canteen as it has indoor gaming area

Dislikes

Our campus is too small and not do not have much area to roam

According to me, u would rate it 7 out of 10 as it actually prepares me for the real world and makes me able to handle the situation by analysing the real life case studies in class. And knowledge about reality rather than theoritical knowledge only.

Students are eligible for placements from the first year and there are companies that comes highest package is around 20+ Lpa and the minimum average is 11 lakhs for all the students after the degree.

Likes

The teaching faculty is really nice and polite. They usually help students even when u contact them after college hours.
The engagements and the quality of the social interactions in this college is also very good and very uplifting.
The quality of the infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges in du, considering its very new.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the thought of learning about the literature of the older times was pretty exciting to me while I was choosing the course. The curriculum however does prepares you if you want to continue ur academic journey in the English field.

The college is in a safe place and has hygienic and clean environment. Also because it is an all girls college there is always a sense of security.
The college offers various kinds of internships paid / unpaid which are open to students from all courses.
The college offers extra curricular activities and societies which enhance the student experience

Dislikes

There are no Ac's in any of the classroom which make it difficult for students to attend classes in the scrotching heat.
The teacher's do not finish there syllabus on time and make the subject confusing for students.
The canteen and the food there is not very hygenic

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Deloite , airtel, zomato, bajaj , kpmg, ey, accenture etc. Companies recruit students for jobs and internships. 60 percent of students in maitreyi college are placed. The highest package might range from 100000 to 1500000 and average package ranges from 4 to 8 lakhs. After my degree i plan to give government exam's like HAS etc.

Wonderful life experience that can't be forgotten.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.

Overall its a good course and good college if you are only here for studies not for any other curricular activities.

The eligibilty of the course you should be pass in 12th with the science stream its not neccessary that you should be.a medical student , non medical students can also apply for the course after the 12th The form is filled online CUET And if you are an average student so can clear this exam . After the cuttoff and if you are selected go to your alloted college and done your admission process and must carry your all the documents , passport size photograph , 2 sets of photocopies of all documents. Meera Bai Institute of Technology is pretty good because of it is only for girls there is much more discipline between teachers and students. From my point of view college is overall quite good teachers are very frankly mode of study is practical and theory basis. Our campus is not so good in infrastructure like other colleges but it is average. The area around the college is good.
