Remarks

The college has a very good infrastructure, campus and well maintained hostels. We also go on trips but we pay for it. In the events, every students get to interact with different students from different colleges. The faculties add up to it.

Course Curriculum Overview

The bachelor's course is a journey of 4 years with 8 semesters in total and lot of practical knowledge. The practicals are very interesting as we get to know the quality and types of fabrics, textiles and understand the creativity of designers.

Placement Experience

Our college provides diverse placements and job opportunities in many known companies. Yes, our college also provides internship programs for all students to learn everything before they actually go for a job. But I don't have any experience of internships because i haven't availed any.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total journey or course fees of the college is 4.5 lakhs per annum for bachelor's students. The fee structure is quite considerable because of the college being a private institute and the infrastructure it has. It is also very expensive for many students who want to persue designing dream.

Campus Life

The college conducts a number of events, annual meet and various celebrations within the college premises. These events also help develop soft skills like communication of many students. We also have number of sports like football, basketball, badminton tournaments etc.

Admission

First I had to give offline entrance exam which is the UID Design Aptitude Test. After securing eligible marks I was selected for the next two phases. The first phase was the campus test and after that was the PI phase. In the end i got admitted.

Faculty

The faculties here are very talented, well-educated and cooperative. Most of them have years of experience in the fashion as well as other designing fields and helps impart their knowledge and experiences to all of us.

Placement Experience:

I am in my 7th semester and I was asked to apply. After beging rejected from two I was still provided the opportunity and in 4th attempt I finally made it. Likewise every student is provided ample chances and mostly in penultimate semester around 70% students are placed. Rest all get one final chance in the massive placements activity in the final semester.

About the placement procedure, from the very first Trimester we are being prepared for aptitude tests,Group Discussion rigorously and mostly after our 4th Trimester we get eligible for our placement right after our internship duration and we are being prepared very well for placement season and encouraged for the same. There are 3 stage process of admission. First it is written test. Once we get selected from 1st stage then come situation test and interview. Really helpful

The admission process was quite easy, you just needed to give one entrance there were some passing marks which are different for every year. Once you pass the entrance exam they call you for the interview round on the date you select. You need to show your portfolio (whatever good work you have). Then they announce the result via your registered mail. Other than this admissions forms are announced on their official site. It's mostly in the month of December. Best design college which helped me grow into a successful professional

The eligibility for the course is 12th with 60% of marks. Plus, I appeared for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), ST, and Portfolio Evaluation Test.
