Course Curriculum Overview

A full time, post graduation course- Master of Surgery has a rigid and well assembled curriculum and at the same time research and practical knowledge is given utmost importance and hence prepares its students for every situation come what may. The exam structure perfectly aligns with the curriculum providing a complete package to its students.

Placement Experience

This three year program includes an year of paid internship provided by the college which is extremely crucial in order to learn the basics of how to work in the real world. Therefore, such a cohesive environment of learning attracts employers from the best hospital from all over the country.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This on-campus post graduation course for 3 years is provided by the college for which it charges approximately ?7.5 lakhs as the total fee. The fee structure is pretty affordable as compared to any other medical school.

Campus Life

In order to provide a better working environment there are several extra curricular activities being organised throughout the year to help its students socialize and maintain a happy and safe learning environment for the students and the faculty as well.

Hostel Facilities

Since it is located in Chennai there are several accommodation options available with the students but considering the hostel facility available by the university could be a better call. It can cost around ?27,000 per year per student to avail hostel facility.

I always wanted to become a doctor and learn at a renowned medical school. Performing surgeries and helping people cure their diseases has always intrigued me. After my graduation, I wanted to pursue my further education in Master of Surgery (MS) and in no time I came across this prestigious institution- ESIC Medical College and PGIMSR, Chennai.

The faculty of this institution is supremely qualified and excellent at what they do. They have set a benchmark in the field of science and it goes without saying that I am extremely fortunate to learn under such dignitaries.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the southern indian most famous chemical company is there in our circle and other chemicals companies are there. other then this reason I like the chemistry subject and exciting to learn. In our chemistry department teacher give good preparation for the semester exams. My point of view the exams are easy to write excepting only few subjects.

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
