Entrance Preview

I took BITSAT after compliting 12th std. BITSAT is of about 450 marks and one should get 300+ marks to get admision in BITS cooleges but i get 178 marks so i cant took admision in bits. Finaly i got admision in MSU baroda. I choose only MSU.

Internships Opportunities

Yes ,obvisioly msu provide the internship progremes for students of various facuties mostly for mechanical ,computer,electrical,chemical students. But as i m in 2nd year i dont joint any company for internship so i can tell only the basic view about this. Comapnies like abb ,relaince gave a oprtunity to internships and simons company is assoiciated with msu and run the diferwnt course in our college like NC, NX.

Placement Experience

There is a wonderfull opportunities for geting a campus placments. Reputed companies like abb, gsfc ,tata motors, relaince, etc are come for job offers and they gave a offer above 6 laks per year so this is the main advantege of msu is placement cell. In year 2013-2014 out of 110 students 78 get job from campis internview in mechanical branch and highst pacage in mechanical branch is 1.1 milion(11lacks).the over all highest placment in msu is 14,laks in metalurgical dipartment. The average placement of MSU is 3.25 laks .

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships in MSU. For general students scholarship named dsw ,narhari,merit scholarship,etc and for SEBC students there are more than 5,scholarships oprion are available.DSW is scholarship in which the students gets them fees back into their bank acvount. MSU dont provide the facility of loan but if any one wanted the loan then bharuch trust is good which is provided loan of 40000 per year without taking intrest.

Exam Structure

There is 8th semisters in all branches and afters every 2 semisters the average result are made and this became a yearly result lile 1st rear result,2nd year result,etc. But in GTU SGPA or CGPA system is runnimg where as in MSU direct persntage system. Like 10th -12th arw running the exames is held in oir class rooms and labs and it is comfrtable for students .

College placement is very good in my college. Also some students whose parents has background in civil engineering are coming only for Degree. There are many companies visited . Some are Adani, wipro , ultratech etc. highest package is may be 18LPA and average is 4.5LPA and it is depending upon branch. It is depend upon students. Student with Good project and good Score in semesters are getting placements. I am looking for placements.

Admission in this Gujarat's top university is through two exams one is GUJCET and other is via JEE MAINS as per engineering is concerned. Also it's one of the best university you can get into. to take entry in this course one must have average score in main 3 subjects of science, maths and english. if he or she is from diploma than he or she must have cgpa more than 8. for entering this university one should pass the entrance exam called NATA .
