Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is not so hard. The syllabus is combined with group discussion, case studies, practical and assignment. We also have industrial visits for which we have to prepare a report. The exams are not so hard and just concept based.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities in the field are enormous. The college provides internship sometimes with a stipend or sometimes unpaid. We also go to industrial visits which gives us first hand experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is absolutely feasible. The total fee per year is just Rs 3,000. This figure is nothing in terms of fee. So the fee is never a problem in the college. The college also provides scholarships to meritorious students.

Campus Life

The college organise many seminars and workshops on various topics to provide exposure. Many cultural events like annual fest, fresher's party, farewell etc are organised at the campus as well. The library is also good.

Admission

Being a commerce student I opted for B.Com. general course for my graduation. I have to fill a form available on the website of the college with necessary documents and details. Admission is then granted on the basis of academic scores.

Faculty

The teachers are very friendly here. They are not so aged which makes them easily get us with. We have regular group discussions in the classroom with some very serious or very funny topics but all is very exciting. They teach us really well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.

Sonamukhi College is best for all.

There is no such difficult situation to get admission in our college usually one can apply to it only after passing higher secondary. You can apply to our college through any online cafe or mobile. There is a subject-wise separate fee for applying. Generally, the admission process in our college starts in the month of May and June. Yes there is advance reservation process. I think offline admission process is better than online admission process but it is not possible to admit so many students in college....Read More

Total marks 60% was required in hs to get apply admission to online in our college. Any cybar cafe you have to apply on online. All subjects charge difarant fees maximum 5000 and minimum 1200 rupee. If you pass your high school and have 70+ marks, you can apply addmission in our course. Then you get admission through a short test. Apply through online. application fees is 3500 and addmission date a 25/07/22. There is no facility for reservation. Better to update software....Read More
