Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum is totally based upon practical knowledge you need to gain in the field of physics. Different papers are the part of our syllabus ...we study Kinetics,thermodynamics etc separately in these papers. Physics is my favourite subject thus I never face any fear in my exams.

Placement Experience

Placements provided to my seniors were good...I cannot tell you the exact thing about the placement because I still don't knoow many things about the placement opportunities...but I have heard somewhere that 4 to 5 reputed companies use to come here with job opportunities

College Events

Our college is providing us a very rich cultural as well as academic mixed college life. Several Facility are provided to us for our better growth..Whole campus is surrounded with CCTV CAMERAS to keep everything in undercontrol... Boys and girls ratio in this college is ok types..

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure are quite same for every college belong to Gour Banga University... Rupees 8120 was the fee i paid during my admission In this fee they took admission charge as well as one year tuition fee with other miscellaneous charge.

Campus Life

Best Bengal is very well known as for their festivals. As This college is the heart of West Bengal you cannot take out love for festivals away from this college. We have several talent hunt competitions to make our skills polished and better in other extra curricular activities.

Admission

Just after the board results were out, Surendranath Mahavidyalaya released the application form in their official website. Admission here was totally based upon merit. As I got 80% my admission here was bit confirmed. When they announced their first merit list... I got a call from the college announcing that I am eligible to take admission in their college

Faculty

Faculty members are holding sacks of knowledge in their minds. There is no questions whose answer can't be answered by these teachers. Their lectures makes our difficult topics easy in seconds. Even they motivate us with different motivational speeches

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

The Techno Experience

Likes

Practical Exposure with hands on training is always good for personal growth
The laboratories were well equipped with state of the art instruments
Entrepreneurship was encouraged and it really helped us with designing future start ups.

Dislikes

Lack of scholarships for the needy is one thing that needed to be worked on.
There was a distinct lack of encouragement to pursue extracurricular activity.
Sometimes it felt like it would have helped if we had a mental health counsellor onboard with the department.

Placement Experience:

Techno India University has a strong campus placement. Several students got jobs during the last semester, and I am one of them. Some others choose to wait for better opportunities. Some joined good startups. The package was nominal as we were all freshers. After getting my degree, I planned to pursue corporate experience and then join a lab for my PhD.

Faculties are helpful and kind and the classroom environment is healthy
Classroom, labs and libraries have proper infrastructure
Certificates are provided for participating in conferences or extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

They provide you with various oppertunities like exposure visits, seminar , worshops, etc.

Labs are not well maintained the machines are very slow

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

Study pressure is not that much it will be sufficient to stu61 months before final exam
No strict college there is not compulsory to wear college uniform

Curricullum is quite ok crowd of students are more coding culture should be introduced need of improvement of infrastructure as well in my batch 2023 to 2027 there is total 3 exam in each semester including end sem and 2 test

Faculty is really good and helping they do help !
Labs are taken on time and is made clear to us very well
Teacher are very good and friendly for us

Dislikes

I disliked the fact that the rooms get too hot during sumer
There should have been one ac that could have turned on in classes during hot , except smart class room and auditorium
Nothing as much , some little stuffs that are everywhere nowadays in college

Exams are generally spaced well throughout the smemstwr allowing adequate time for preperation , how ever the frequenxy can sometimes be overwhelming particulary during peak study periods , but the diffulty level isnt that concerning and they are easy

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

Placement Experience:

Since the syllabus is quite up to date, students learn a lot and are way ahead of their age group students. Most of the students qualify for placements with attractive packages. The university also encourages internships that carry credits in their academic report.
