Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of arts English hons is a graduation course which has the duration of 3 years and follows semester system of education. The course structure is good and focuses on lots of projects and study. The days are chilled. Exams are tiring.

Placement Experience

The institution provides with good education and all the necessary equipments for the students development. Various seminars and workshops are also organized. However, there are no placements available for the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the BA English hons p is around 10 thousand which is very feasible as per the demands and popularity of the course among the students. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

Campus Life

The college is good in its extracurricular activities. They enrich their students and focuses on overall development of the students. They have various sports activities like football, basketball and so on. They also organize cultural functions like fest and fate.

Admission

Jamini Roy College offers undergraduate courses in arts. It is affiliated to Bankura University. The students interested in getting admission in BA English hons must have 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized Indian Board with at least 45 percent marks. Then they will have to apply and on merit basis they will be selected.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.
