Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum is the standard construction curriculum, which includes theory and practical both. Continuous Comprehensive Assessment is evaluated, and some other aspects of projects and presentations. The system is CBCS (Choice Based Credit System).

Placement Experience

4.5

Training and Placement Cell(TPO cell) provides training for placements in areas such as interview, aptitude test and personality development for students. Some of the companies that visited our campus are TCS, IBM, Wipro, and Nokia.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is around Rs. 47,500 per academic year. Rs. 1,90,000 for four years of BTech. Students are also ready to get a bank loan. Fee is very much affordable, with many private colleges charging twice as much.

Campus Life

We play all kinds of sports at the state level. J.S. University supports students to live healthier and healthier lives. We had a gym with all the equipment we needed. Recreational and cultural activities are also held regularly.

Admission

For the admission process, first of all, I registered online for B.Tech. I have downloaded the form and am sent with a registration fee of Rs 1000. The form can be submitted directly to the office. I score 80% in class 12 and the minimum marks I need to get from an accredited education board is 40%.

Faculty

4.5

It is good to know that all faculty are highly qualified. Some have worked as professionals so they have a lot of knowledge about the field. Most of them are teachers who are eligible for the central government, which makes them even more knowledgable.

Placement Experience:

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.

Corporate Law is a subjects but no corporate placements as law firms were the sole contributors of our university. They gave as many placements as 30% students were placed and that too with very thin packages. So, university needs to fix this just like they have fixed every single thing at the campus.

Placements for Law are not comparable to the tech courses so far at GLA. Every year combining BBA LLB and BA LLB around 300 and I don't think even 100 are placed. So, GLA University will have to find a way to get atleast half the students find placements here and because I know my chances of getting placements are slim, I will be opting for doing LLM after I am done with LLB in 2027.
