Course Curriculum Overview

The course is divided into three months. At the initial stage, it is all about the foundation of screenwriting. It taught us how stories in movies are different than the rest. In the second month, we learnt different tools of screenwriting. At the last stage, it was all about workshops and practical work.

Placement Experience

The institute has proper placement procedure and students who have worked hard either get an opportunity in the film industry or get training sessions to hunt the jobs and successfully get settled in their career.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is nominal. The students have to pay Rs.60,000/- for the diploma course. In case a student is not able to pay the fees properly, they are offered loans at a nominal rate. But since this is a big place to learn the art of screenwriting, it is worth it!

Campus Life

For us, the best extra curricular activities used be the guest lectures as a lot of celebrities have come here and taught us the life that is "Bollywood". Apart from that, we also took part in the Times Fresh Face!

Admission

I had to submit a video as an audition, a non-registration fees of Rs.250 and a detailed application form. Those whose video would be selected will get the admission in their respective course. I received an e-mail regarding the same.

The teachers are so knowledgeable and have a completed their subjects from respectable colleges. Each one of them have a great experience and don't back out in any problem. We also used to have celebrities as guests lecturers.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

The college is best for placement and club activity

Placement Experience:

In my branch, the placement is good In 2025, 150 students are placed in Wipro, infosys, Amazon and Google like companies the minimum package is seven lakh. Also in my branch one Student it is placed in Amazon with 47 lakh rupees package in college. They already prepare Student for interviews and aptitude test. The placement cell is conduct aptitude test with the Google for students for each semester in that they test our coding skills, English skills and attitude test from that they give us a detail information in which skills are lacking and on which skill we want to work

Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS
