The UGC content deals with the measures for environmental protection, conservation of Natural Resources, changes in Climate etc., The college provides curricular flexibility and credit transfer globally by offering Choice Based Credit System. The results of Semester Examinations are published with a time frame ie. within 15 days of the last day of the examination.

The College over a period of 45 years, ever since its inception and as an Institution enjoying Autonomy for the past 30 years has introduced many Application Oriented and Job Oriented Programmes in response to the social needs and market demand. The college ensures employment for the final year students through Placement Cell which is functioning with adequate facilities.

E-learning is designed to meet the new challenges and to help the student to achieve their goals in future. Consumer Citizen Club educates the students about rights of the consumers to mobilize youngsters to strengthen the consumerism. They also conduct regular week end classes for the students by the Periodical Guest Lecture programmers with eminent faculty members.

The college collects the fees according to the Government Norms which is feasible to all students. Lab fees and Special Fees revisions are subjected to the Principal of the Director of Collegiate Education, Chennai. Also the Recognition Fees is applicable to other Board / other University Students only.

A special Cell to look into the affairs of SC and ST students and staff of the institution is constituted and functioning on the campus in accordance with the XI plan guidelines of the University Grants Commission. Also the NSS and NCC cadets training is constantly updated to keep pace with the recent developments in defense educational systems.

Erode Arts and Science College Alumni Association was started to enlighten students on higher studies and career opportunities to create social awareness among the students. It also aims to award students who excel in academic activities and sports in order to encourage them.

The Principal on the basis of the selection made by the Selection Committee shall make the admissions. They follow the admission norms scrupulously. Candidates are selected /admitted under Open Competition Quota on the basis of Merit from the Rank-List irrespective of the community to which a candidate belongs.

As the college is recognized by Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and the Staffs are well qualified with M.Phil. and Ph.D., the faculty does the best for the students. It also provides ample opportunities for students in technological fields, so that students can become self-employable.
