The basic requirement for admission into the college is that the student must have passed the Common Law Entrance Test or CLAT. The entrance criterion for the BA LLB (Hons.) is that the candidates should have passed class 12th exam with minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ ST Categories). For the LLM course candidates should have possessed an LLB degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ ST categories).

The faculty of MNLU, Nagpur ranges from mediocre to highly trained professors. There are 50 - 60 teaches between 400 students. So every student gets specific attention from the teacher.
