Remarks

College has good academic reputation.A feel good green lush campus.It is active in social activities.Students wish to come from home can avail transport facility. Fair number of students graduate from this college. Though has some positive points based on placements were lagging one.Faculty and course curriculum wont be abruptly similar to Government syllabus. Fees is higher than the other reputed colleges.If u avail for loan, authority check the college reputation and slightly hesitate to offer.

A good professional course.Faculty students ratio is fair. Quality of the faculty is average and review methods makes stressful situation to the students. There will be exams often. Coming to difficulty criteria there no ease in getting marks comparing to other colleges.

Employability and plans after completing courses are at minimum level. There is no highly reputed companies available for campus selection.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was not at all single scholarship or meritorious students scholarship provided.There is no fees reduction for the high scored students in higher secondary examination. There is no room for campus jobs with stipend.

Active in social activities. Sports and extra curricular activities are available. Amenities in classroom are better. A good number of Availability of books and journals .

A good accommodation with hygiene food. Individual restrooms are available for each room in girls hostel.adequate facility is available in the rooms.

Beyond your limits

Placement Experience:

Students can become eligible in their 8th semester which is also called PPO (Pre Placement Offer) where the number of students getting placed are very low or the students can get their placements in their 10th semester. L&T, Sanjaypuri architects, Zaha Hdid architects are the few companies that I know. In general there are 10-20 offers made. The highest package offered is 18LPA and average is 5.5LPA as per the latest data. 78-85 percent students get placed and the other 15 percent opt for further studies. Currently I'm not sure with my plan but I may do master degree.

Architecture amidst serene greenery

Course Curriculum Overview:

The duration of the course is 5 years with 10 semesters in total. I think this is good period of time to learn architecture. Each semester has five theory subjects and one design subject. The design subject deals with designing buildings with given brief without any plagiagrism. The other five theory subjects are quite easy other than the subjects that involves maths, which requires practice and learning. all the nine semesters are quite conceptualized, whereas the internship semester gives an idea on how the real world of architecture industry works. Though the syllabus is old all over india, it might be for betterent if the practical learning is involved in all semesters.

ONE OF THE BEST CAMPUS AMONGST ALL NITs. NIT TRICHY.

Placement Experience:

Placement happens in the fourth year before the final semester. Multiple companies offers jobs like Google, Amazon, Instagram etc. Average salary package is around 50LPA 95 percent of students get placed in average There is no campus placement for architecture.

PMIST: Best Private college in Thanjavur

Pros: this college has a well-maintained infrastructure. The surrounding is very good. The teachers are well qualified and supportive of students. They try to help students to the best way they can. Canteen facilities and hostel facilities are also well maintained. Cons: this college lacks in placement offers. Placements are there but they are not satisfactory. Also, the major language used in the college is Tamil though teachers teach in English only it is a little difficult for other state students those who don't understand Tamil. The admission process is smooth. They don't charge anything extra. You can apply for it online as well as offline. This college is one of the best colleges in Thanjavur. Bus facility is also there.
