Remarks

Pros: this college has a well-maintained infrastructure. The surrounding is very good. The teachers are well qualified and supportive of students. They try to help students to the best way they can. Canteen facilities and hostel facilities are also well maintained. Cons: this college lacks in placement offers. Placements are there but they are not satisfactory. Also, the major language used in the college is Tamil though teachers teach in English only it is a little difficult for other state students those who don't understand Tamil. The admission process is smooth. They don't charge anything extra. You can apply for it online as well as offline. This college is one of the best colleges in Thanjavur. Bus facility is also there. So you opt for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because nowadays it is in high demand. The teaching level is good. Teachers are well qualified and experienced. In one class there is a total of 60 students so that teacher can easily be attentive to each and every student. Exams are conducted very smoothly. In our college passing is not a big thing. If you'll put little effort also you can achieve great marks.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are not so good and not so bad. It is moderate. Students are eligible in their final year for campus placements. Many good companies visit our college like Infosys, TCS, IBM etc. More than 80% of students get placed with a good package. The package may range up to 1L-7L.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are not too high. I'll consider it good range fees. For Btech in cse fees is Rs.94000, you can pay it fully in once or you can pay it semester wise. For 1st sem of a year, you need to pay Rs.59000 and for 2nd sem, you should pay Rs.35000. College provides many scholarships schemes. I've enrolled through defence personnel scholarship in which I get a scholarship of Rs.20000 per year.

Campus Life

4.5

Life on the campus is pretty good actually. They conduct one annual fest called "PEACE" once in a year. It is celebrated in a very good manner. Also, each department conducts its own tech fest called"symposium". It is also very good.it provides students to showcase their technical talents and many other games too. We have a big library. It is up to 3 floors. You can find any sort of book there. Everything is available. The college conducts sports day once in a year. There is a big stadium also in which gym facility is also available.

The placement and the package in this current year is less when compared to previous years. This is due to the more admissions in computer science field and more employees are there.the highest package is 12L/yr . 18% of students will get placed. My plan is to start private construction agency.

There is no good roads to our college. As there is a good and excellent hostel mess with sufficient seating arrangement. There is bus service to each and every corner. As the drawbacks are there no separate playground for cricket and hockey.
