Entrance Preview

GAT with rank 1772, It is one of the famous college in our city and moreover it is a university. We are the first University batch. Previously it is AU affiliated. It is pretty old and famous college. Well maintained infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is electronics and communication engineering. The course covers almost all the required subjects. Apart from course there are some personality development courses. Few extra curricular activities.

Internships Opportunities

Students can work for part time in college library. This is good option for students earn while learning. They can earn approximately 5k per month. This is great opportunity for poor students.

Placement Experience

It is made sure that there is 100% placement. Most of the companies are TCS, ACCENTURE, INFOSYS,ERRICSSON,CSC,ORACLE,MICROSOFT,and average package would be 4 laks.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's bit expensive. It's 1,08,500 when I joined. But it has increased to 1.5 laks now. Management seat will be very costly. So people got through GAT, can opt for it... Management seat s bit costlier.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship provided except for SC and ST students. As far as I know there is no loans availed by the college.

Campus Life

Campus life is too good. You will enjoy roaming around the campus. There are many games like caroms,badminton, basketball, cricket ground used as football as well. Volley ball. 2 big lawn tennis courts, table tennis.There is lot of caste feeling in the college.

Faculty

Not all faculty are good. But there are experienced faculty who are too good. But few are too bad that they doesn't even know the subject. More than faculty it's the self study that's important. There are people who can guide the students, but need to find out them.

From my selected course I have better placement opportunities and internship of ancient is a also said the minimum package is 6 lakhs per annum in my course highest package is 1200000 and lowest package is 3 lakh per annum for every five students at you are getting place today in multinational companies with different packages

Placements are good in our college and the Teachers said that all the information when give career guidance how to attend our interviews in placements time and how to crack a exam percentage of student is based on 7.5 CGPA must be included and my plans after degree to get a job and improve my skills and go further. Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum a 4.5 out of 5. The college got many new department like cyber security and artificial intelligence and data science as well. The exams are little bit difficult i felt. Teaching method are good and understanding. The frequently and timing for exams is less and more difficult that i felt. Got less time for preparation.

Campus placements are provided from college. Highest they show was 60Lpa obviously off campus and was in the year 2022 but there were quite good ones from AWS 32 lpa, yugabyte 44lpa, Morgan Stanley 29lpa. Average package is 5.9lpa. Percentage of students getting placed is dropped slightly because of the increase in studemt intake

Affordable college, needs improvement.

Applied to a couple of NLUs did not get the T1 or T2 NLUs, and did not want to go to T3 NLUs for the sake of the name, tried other private colleges but they were super expensive compared to this. I got accepted to all the private colleges that I applied to, and all of the T3 NLUs. The college has its own general admission test GAT, which is simple enough to be taken easily, a seperate personal interview is also conducted, though as far as I am aware, it is not a ground for rejection currently....Read More
