Remarks
My overall experience with the college was pretty good. Starting from my lectures to the teaching faculty to the stay in the hostel, everyone was very decent, obedient and nice to each other. The facilities of the college are good too.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum involves a lot of theory, research material and practical approach to the subjects. There is immense and intense clinical research on topics which could get very taxing on the students.
Placement Experience
Being a medical college, the college has a hospital in association with the college where the students start their practicing career, beginning with internships and then a full time doctor, if they wish to. Some students choose to move to other hospitals or clinics.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is very feasible and appropriate for the course. It is much lesser than any other private medical college around the state, which charges exorbitant fees. The fee for the MBBS course for a year is Rs.1 lakh which is not a lot.
Campus Life
The college conducts a cultural fest for a week, every year which is our major signature fest. the college also conducts medical camps and blood donation camps, seminars on cancer and other such topics of importance too.
Hostel Facilities
The college has a hostel which is decently maintained. The rooms are cleaned frequently and the bathrooms are good too. The students are provided with a mess for breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner which is a good package.
Admission
The admission is based on the PMC entrance test conducted by the college itself, followed by an interview. I gave the entrance in which i scored good marks and therefore, i was called for an interview, depending on which i got my seat.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is quite interactive and friendly with the students. They are pretty helpful and try their best to ease out the load of work on the students by dividing it up or setting different deadlines.
