Course Curriculum Overview

The course is huge and lengthy. The college follows the syllabus prescribed by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The total course duration for MBBS is 5 years and 6 months including one year of rotating internship.

Placement Experience

The placement of the graduates from this college is quite impressive. After graduating from this college, many of the seniors are working in big hospitals. You will find a decent package against your MBBS degree of this college. You also get to do an internship but the stipend is not fixed, you may or may not get it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college doesn't charge extravagantly for any course you choose. If you are opting for the MBBS degree then you can expect a fee of Rs. 1 lac per annum for 5 years of your entire course. It is similar to other medical colleges.

Yes, you will get scholarship from the college. You will also get a scholarship from the government as well. And other loan facilities are also available for the students, you can avail any one of them as per your choice.

The campus is a bit in the outskirts of the city. The campus as well as the surroundings is quiet and peaceful. Each year, the college celebrates Tamil New Year, 31st December, and other religious and cultural festivals. College events are also organized each year.

Admission

You need to pass 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks, and also clear the cut-off in NEET UG entrance. If you got both of these then you will be called for counselling if your marks meet the required merit.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is good. One can definitely expect good quality of education as all the professors here are highly qualified and have experience of many years. The theoretical as well as the practical knowledge of the teachers are of high standards.

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Placement Experience:

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.
