The truth

The best aspect of the college is the campus and the faculty. The bad aspect of the college is the smelly washrooms. The admission process was fairly easy. The main reason for preferring KIT over other colleges was the experienced faculty and the closeness of college from my home. I used the college's official website while selecting this college.

I chose this course because I love programming and all the stuff such as android app making, website designing, artificial intelligence, etc. The faculty-student ratio is fairly enough to make the students satisfied with mentoring, doubt clearing, teaching-learning processes. All the faculties are highly experienced and teach exceedingly well. The term exams were very specific and mainly focussed on the applications of the syllabus and some of it was concept based.

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. The companies approaching are cisco, TCS, Wipro, Tata, Infosys, etc. The total number of offers made are 140. The highest package offered was of 12 lakhs per anum. And the average package is about 6 lakhs per anum. About 80 percent of students get placements. Currently, I have no plans for post-degree life.

The fee is about 100000 per anum. There is also an option to pay the fees in installments.

Every year in the month of January there is the conduction of pioneer(a national paper presentation competition). Sports are encouraged too other than studies. There's an organization named team mavericks in the college run by the students who conduct many(most) events in the college for other students to add to their knowledge.
