Best college around ambattur.

The management was too supportive for the students to get into a great career.

I took tamil nadu entrance exam which got cancelled since after 2006 i was the last batch for that exam. It was a good system than just considering only 12th exam results.

I have know idea about the internships inside the college but the research lab was open for many eligible students. Since I have no experience in it am not sure about the stipend amounts offered.

The placement in this college was too good. Companies like TCS, Infosys, IBM, HCL etc do come. I got placed in TCS along with 200 other students. Infosys took around 100 students and so on. No student selected in one can apply for another except for the first 5 rank holders in each department.

The culturals were only internal to the college. The symposiums were conducted in grand manner, though no spiritual festivals were celebrated. The college days were celebrated in grand manner too. The chief guests were mostly very useful educational celebrity.

When I joined I have to pay around Rs70,000 every year for government quota. It was common during my time to gat into any self financing college with good placement.

The velammal institution itself is well know for supporting outstanding students with scholarships.

The proportion of girls were comparatively less like any other college. The management supported with internal house warming parties often work shops were conducted to improve the application knowledge of the students. The college strictly followed dress codes of anna university.

I was a day scholar but still my friends from hostel had a good environment in the hostel no mobile usage was allowed.

The seniors and alumini were good in guiding the juniors in all ways including extacuricullar activies etc they supported in projects ,placements, symposiums etc.

They had good exam schedules to keep the students up to date with syllabus. The cycle tests were conducted once in 2 weeks.

The faculties were well knowledged in the syllabus and pattern of anna university. They often conducted test internally to improve the scores the supported with project ideals too.
