MBBS Review

As we all know MBBS is not an easy degree, you shall have a hectic schedule for 5 years and you will be studying for 17-18 hours a day and etc. But the fact is it depends on what you want, it depens on your preceptive of life and dreams and also depends on what college you are choosing. So make a good choice and join this college where you will get all the facilities and practical experience of work. A good college indeed.

The course curriculum is semester based and the total numbers of semesters are 10 in 5 years of degree course. The course is a bit difficult as we all know MBBS is not an easy degree to achieve. The course covers all the theoretical and practical aspect of the subjects. The schedule is hectic and needs a lot of concentration and dedication towards the subject.

The placement cell is quite good. Almost 70-80% student gets placed as it is MBBS, through the college's long term internship process. The internships and placements are pretty good here. The stipend of Rs. 20,000 is offered by the Government of Karnataka.

The fee structure is a bit expensive, If it is compared to other government colleges. But if you compare it with other private colleges then i would definitely say it is much affordable. You need to pay around 3,35,000 Rs. for the entire course curriculum which is not that expensive for me but it will be a little difficult if you are coming from not so good economical background.

There are a lot of options in extracurricular activities. Every year different fastivals are celebrated, different sports and games and different events are conducted for the students. There is a sports carnival including the major sports like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball etc. There is an annual cultural fest conducted by the college. Also the othet aspects like the laboratory and library are well equipped and full of resources.

The admission process is basically entrance and merit based. To get admitted here first you need to secure atleast 50% in your higher secondary examination or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board in science stream. Then you need to appear for NEET-UG and get a good rank there. The application for admission is in offline mode.

The faculty members are the best. They are all successful doctors and good teachers as well. They are very helpful and co operative. There are more than 10 faculties per department and all of them are always ready to guide us, throughout the course. They are like our inspiration in this field.
