My journey of becoming a doctor

The college is a very good institution when it comes about quality education.The output of the college as far as I have seen, are always good doctors and other medical workers. One should never think twice before taking admission in the college.

The course curriculum of MBBS is quite vast. It is a five and a half year course. It is started from the very basics and it leads on becoming the highly professionals. We have regular practical classes and laboratory sessions as in this field practical experience is most important full stop it is sometimes quite hectic, because we have to study 6-7 hours a day in college and we have to do 4-5 hours of self study.

In the medical profession, we don't call it placements, we call it practice. Once the five and a half year course program is over, one can practice in any medical Institute or hospital in the country. Internship programs are also provided by the college

All the national festivals such as Independence day and republic day are celebrated in the college. We have college days and annual functions that are celebrated on a very large scale basis in the college.

As compared to other medical colleges, the fees of malla Reddy Institute of medical Science is is comparatively very low. The annual fee is approximately 12 lacs and extra charges include 30,000 more. there are some other colleges in Telangana that caused annual fee is up to 20,000 to 25000 rupees.

Yes the college does provide scholarships. Special concessions are provided to the OBC or SC ST category students. Loan facilities are also provided by the college. If any student wants to avail it, we can get it done from an authorised Bank

We have a lot of workshops and seminars going on every now and then in the college. Powerpoint presentations and guest lectures are also a part of them. various social awareness programmes like blood donation and health awareness are also conducted in the college and also outside the college by the students of the college itself.

The hostel have a very good infrastructure. The food provided in the hostel is full of protein and other nutrients. Usually the food menu is South Indian but now a wide variety of variation is being seen.

The seniors of my college are really helpful. They always guide us through the different ups and downs that happen in the college. They help in preparing for examinations commerce telling important questions and much more.

I always wanted to pursue MBBS and become a doctor, MRIMS was one of the best options for it. All they want for admission is good ranking and marks obtained in the examination of NEET-UG and NEET-PG.

The faculty of the college is undoubtedly very well experienced and highly qualified. They have years and years of experience in this field. Most of them are MD and some of them are even retired doctors teaching in the college.
