Jagiroad College Memories

The duration of the BA was 3 years. College equipped with all facilities. College had a huge campus with greenery, huge library, art galleries for art students and computer labs. The college provided all the facilities to the students. As attendance was not compulsory for Arts I enjoyed my 3 years of life here a lot.

As it was art stream, placement was not available for us. Many of the students studied here go for the competitive examinations or further studies. Rest of them open their own art galleries. No doubt... You will not get placement here but you'll get various skills from here.

Events were the most beautiful scenario of the college. Events started with freshers party and then all the festivals and annual functions held in the college. We participated in all these events and showed our different singing & dancing skills.

The fees structure of the college was too feasible as it was a government college. But the faculty and facilities were the best in this small fees. The fees of the college was just 4-5 thousands Rs per year. And definitely it was easily affordable to everyone studied here.

Extracurricular activities such as drama competitions, plays, debates and much more held regularly in the college. Along with this, different arts exhibitions and drawing competitions conducted by the college for us. We participated in it and improved our skills. Also sports activities were held once in a year.

Jagiroad College is one of the best government college for graduation and post graduation in Assam. As I have interested in Arts from childhood and I scored good marks in 12th I chose the best government college in Assam for Bachelor of Arts. Hence I took admission in Jagiroad College Assam. The admission process is purely on merit basis.

The faculty of the college was too friendly. Undoubtedly, they were highly qualified and talented. But still they were too understanding and cooperative. They were always available for us to implement our creativity and imagination. They taught us lot of art skills in our 3 years of graduation.
