Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is quite well designed. It is interesting and informative in equal measure, and the topics are are all important requirements in a studying a language deeply. Exams are held every semester, regularly.
Placement Experience :
There aren't placements, with this being an arts-based college. The career guidance cell is very helpful nevertheless. They provide training for exams such as UGC-NET and UPSC which many students attempt after graduation, and also help prepare for job interviews, resume making and so on.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is actually very low and affordable. The 3-year B.A. degree costs around 7000 rupees in total, which isn't too high. Considering the quality of education and infrastructure, the fee required is certainy feasible.
Campus Life :
There are many different activities that are available in the campus. There is Sports and Fitness cell, which oversees the sports section, and many participate. There's also NSS and NCC. Seminars and guest lectures are regularly held. The college has an equal opportunity cell, and a grievance cell for students.
Admission :
Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit takes entrance examinations for entry to its courses, followed by a personal interview round. The application is done through the college's official website, with the filling of the form and payment of the fee. Based on the results of written and oral rounds, I was selected and I took admission.I wanted to pursue Sanskrit beyond my 10+2, and the reputation of this college precedes itself, so it was an easy decision to join here.
Faculty :
The faculty members were very supportive to me during my time at the college. not only were they great teachers, but they also guided us in terms of understanding our skill-set, and getting a good grasp on the topics.
