Entrance Preview

AIEEE, rank was somewhere around 100000. There were many new deemed universities at that time but MRCE came under MDU rohtak which was reaon for me to choose MRCE over others.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Most of the courses were mandatory & selected by university. Course curriculum seemed alright & almost all the necessary subjects were covered. There were enough tutorials & labs classes as well.

Internships Opportunities

Students have to look for internship on their own. 6 months internship was mandatory in the last semester & if some student is not able to find any internship then they have to do a project from the college itself.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placements are also average & not many students got placed through college placements. There was no industry exposure & very few job opportunities present.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for the college was on the higher side. It was around Rs.1,40,000. Fees was supposed to be submitted in two installments every year before the start of a new semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no loan facility provided as per my knowledge but there some scholarship/ fee waiver for the students coming under reserved category.

Alumni/Alumna

There was a very low interaction between senior & junior students. There is no such alumni network as there was no event organised by the college for the students to interact with alumnus.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was designed by MDU rohtak & college had to adhere to it. Examination schedule was a bit lengthy exams were held in span of around 1 month.

Faculty

2

Faculty of the college was average as most of the teachers were either pursuing m.tech or just finished their m.tech. There were hardly any teachers with a phd.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I am very fond of computers and mobile devices since my childhood and want to learn the work behind these smart gadgets. Overall faculty students ratio is good it is approximately 1:40. Most of the teachers are M.tech qualified from prestigious universities like Jamia and Aligarh and some PhD holders as well. As far as teaching is concerned, the overall methodology is good and don't expect some game changing scenarios. Most of the time, term exams happen in timely manner. Due to covid there was some sort of irregularities but now it is all good right now. Passing exams is not that much challenging if you have basic understanding of concepts and ability to apply them. Most of questions comes from previous year papers.
