Remarks

College atmosphere was extremely good, ACBCS was one of the reputed colleges of Nashik.The only disadvantage of the college was that one needs to travel a lot to reach the college. I wanted to enroll myself in the BCA course. When I went to take admission and told about my choice, instead of enrolling me for BCA, they guided me so briefly and clearly for choosing BSc.(Computer Science) that I enrolled myself under Bsc.(Computer Science) satisfactorily.

I was interested in dealing with computer peripherals and coding; how a program compiles and interpreted to get the desired output

Placement Experience

BSc. (CS) is a 3-year degree course. In 3rd year(final year), students become eligible for campus placement. After the degree, I would either opt for higher education or start preparing for competitive exams

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of acbcs was Rs. 3700/-(pr yr), which was affordable for a middle-class family.

Campus Life

Life in college during fests was full of enthusiasm. Every year, in Nov-Dec, our college conducted 'UDAAN' like fests, in which maximum students participated voluntarily with great enthusiasm. Sports Day was also conducted during these two months, where a majority of students participated and won either medals or participation certificate Library dealt with a different genre of books(literature, science, autobiography, biography etc.)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

I chose IT as it has a vocational subject which can gain you more marks. But the facilities are very bad. All facilities wete trainies non wete permanent. Faculties always use to complain about low pay by college and college say we dont gave enough funds. Passing here is very easy as we use to get question bank

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell is responsible for the placement process. It is not very streamlined. Getting a job is considered tough, usually, the student has to search for it themselves. The average package offered is about 4 Lakhs which is okayish. Usually, students go for masters in Europe which is one of the best options. About 40 people apply for placements out of 180 students and out of that about 20-30 get placed.

I chose ashoka as i felt it aligned with my academic and carrer goals at that time. i didn't applied to other colleges because none of them stood out to me as strong in the specific course.
