Entrance Preview

I joined the college through Government counselling in Anna university after i completed my 12th standard.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was great with a lot of knowledge. I had 50 exams in theory and 15 exams in practical with a final year project. It had 8 semesters.There were many electives including electromagnetic theory,measurements and instrumentation, LIC ,microprocessors and microcontrollers,digital signal processing.

Internships Opportunities

This was also good .Many companies visited the college. Some of them were ZOHO,CTS,TCS,WIPRO, and many other .We were also allowed to do internships on our own privately.

Placement Experience

Almost 90% of the eligible candidates were placed. Some of the companies visited were CTS,TCS,WIPRO,INFOSYS,ZOHO,MICROSOFT,etc. Most of the companies were offering around 3lakhs per annum package while some of them were giving 6lakhs package.

College Events

There are not much events celebrated.But yearly we will celebrate the college annual day with culturals and prize distribution for the academics. The arrangements will be excellent.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides the scholarships provided by the government properly.They do provide some scholarships for students who do good projects by funding some money.

Campus Life

Campus life is one to cherish.We can mingle with others. The faculty is very friendly in nature and they coordinate with students very freely.The labs are good.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students helped us during our placements by giving us good tips to perform in the inteview.This helped us perform better in our interview.Also during our exams they guide us in the books to study.

Exam Structure

The exams conducted were good. We had unit tests, cycle tests and then model exams before we write our semester exams. The labs were very knowledgable.We would not feel bored.

Faculty

The faculty in my college are one of the best .They are very helpful in all our needs. They provide us everything that is essential for our course. They guide us wat to do and when to do.They teach us practically so that we get more knowledge about the subject.

Rmk collegeof engineering and technology has strong placement with excellent percentage. They will train you from 1st year for the placement. The average package is 5-6Lakhs per annum.and the highest pacakge is 66 lakhs.

My Life inside VIT'V

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

I want to become a software Developer. So I choose the Computer Science and Engineering course. In this college, there are many number of placements provided. So I choose this course and college. The admission process of this college was simple. There will be some free seats, General seats, reservation quota seats and Management quota seats. If the student wrote any competitive examinations such as JEE mains and any other competitive examinations. If he got the good rank then college will provide a free seat for that student if he apply in the counselling time. Otherwise student has to buy the college seat through the donation.
