Ques. What are the passing requirements for every semester at Velammal Institute of Technology?
Ans. To pass any semester, the student has to secure a minimum of 50% of total marks for each course and a minimum of 45% of the marks prescribed for the end semester university examination in both practical and theory examination.
If a candidate fails to secure a pass mark in a particular course, he/she must register and reappear for the examination in that course during the next year only. Internals exams minimum passing mark is 70%.
