Remarks

As it's a Directorate Of Distance Education, Bangalore University. The education is either open or distance. And as I am a student of distance with my experience I can fully assure that the university is effective and efficent for the distance education.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is a updated version as per the requirements or we have to choose any three combination of additional subjects along with English and any other indian language. As being a university of distance yearly examinations are taken place.

Placement Experience

3

I dont have exact knowledge about the placement opportunities of the Bangalore university particularly as I am a part of distance education of the university hence for the puropose of placements or job we have to search on our own.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of the university is feasible and differ every year however the total fees of three year of B.A is just for Rs. 14,100 which is much of bearable for the students who want to continue their higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it being a university of distance or open education so however scholarships are not as such available for the students persuing there course from the university. However government of karnaltaka schemes of scholarships maybe available in the university.

Campus Life

3

However I am following the distance scheme of the university I haven't been involved with events or activities of the university in any ways. But I have interacted with the students of open scheme of the university and they have told me various extracurricular or Cocurricular activities are also been conducted with full enthusiasm in the university.

Admission

For the eligibility of admission in this Bangalore university of directorate of correspondence courses & Distance education. As per the correspondence scheme We have to be qualified in 10+2 conducted by the pre-university education board of Karnataka state or equivalent examination thereto. All of for which I was eligible for hence I got my admission.

Faculty

3.5

However I am following the corespondance scheme of the university hence I dont know much about the teachers of the university. But however the course Is really effective so I can the teachers must be well qualified and experienced.

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
