Remarks

The college gives excellent opportunity to students for growth and development. The campus environment is amazing as well.i have made great friends at the universities and have had life long learnings.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum was efficiently designed. It had the right mix of theoretical and practical knowledge. Some days were really hectic and there were frequent exams too. But mostly the vibe was amiable.

Placement Experience

The placement cell works tremendously for the students. Companies like Wipro and Jio visited our campus. There are personality development and skill developement sessions. The university also helps us in getting internships. Most students get jobs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for two years course is Rs 1.62 lakhs which is feasible for a MBA degree. The course fee was affordable for me. This fee is divided into 2 years equally and paid at the beginning of the odd semester.

Campus Life

There are students clubs in the college to pursue our hobbies. There are indoor and outdoor sports facility. The atmosphere in the college is very vibrant. Students from all over the country study here and there is a nice bonding between everyone.

Admission

I got admission in the college based upon my CAT score. Apart from that a minimum 50% marks is required in a graduation of 3 years. MBA from a reputed college was always my dream and I accomplished it at PTU.

Faculty

Most of the faculty has industry experience and have hands on knowledge. They are highly qualified and have years of teaching experience. They were always available for doubt clearing and any other assistance.

Likes

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

Dislikes

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events
infrastructure is not that good , as they were should on the online it is dii
Placement cell provides opportunities but the stronger industry connections.

Placement Experience:

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Dislikes

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

Likes

I appreciate the well maintained campus and infrastructure the cleaniness in the collage is good
My engagement with collage is good I join various types of activity in the collage

Dislikes

There is no ac in the class and the class windows are not that good
But there is one problem which is that there is no many options for girls in games like sports

Placement Experience:

Currently my course at cgc landran does not have any types of placement in my course but however the collage focuses on enhancing development of students employability by providing interships , skills development and workshops to enhance there knowledge

Frequent demand of money as fees n hostel charge
Gym is provided but only for name, no fame , always full

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Cmc - a feeling in itself

Likes

Academics are very good along with proper clinical teaching lectures and simulation based teaching. Patient load is good. All the clinicals skills required at mbbs level are taught properly.
There are various extra-curricular activities which take place in college. Many cultural events are organized by college and student bodies every month which gives an holistic development experience
Sports facilities are also there which are very good.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very old and needs repair
Many faculty members are leaving leading to less good professors in the college
Patient load is decreasing day by day resulting in less clinical exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed in our college is CBME based curriculum. Our college was one such college which conrributed tremendously in developing this type of curriculum. It trains you in all clinical skills and provide you with the best doctor skills. Also many soft skills training session our held which helps in developing and training ourselves as good doctor. All the skills are taught on models and patients.clinical training is very good. However , patient load is decreasing which restricts oursleves in seeing variety of patients

A honest college review

Likes

College faculty are very solid and remarkable and some teachers also support the other students in difficult situation like financially
Paramedical course faculty sometimes give random party for students to their achivement

Dislikes

Campus is some sort of small and Students ground is short.
Sports ground is short if two different teams want to play they can't play like that.teams

Placement Experience:

The college provides good opportunities to those who are good at academics and for those who are not good at academics chances for them to placement are very low. During the past year, there were very good companies shown in my college for my seniors, some were very renowned companies and the highest package was something 650000.

The college is of good reputation and is a police academy under the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The college provides many police administration long term and short term courses and two professional courses namely, M.A and M.Phil.
