Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

There is a lot to learn because the course structure is curated with care. Though we have to pay attention on the theoretical part of the course, most of the teaching is practical in nature. we have to appear for written test also.

Placement Experience

4.5

The institute doesn't offer any direct placement. You can be the part of theatre and drama once you complete your 3 years course. Many of the alumni of this institute are big names of Bollywood including Anupam kher, Irfan Khan, Om Puri, Neena Gupta and many more renowned names.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The most highlighting part of this course is the fee structure. This 3 year course has around 24,000 fees. Generally, a professional course does not has such less fee and so being part of this college is a blessing. By paying such less fee I'm gaining a lifetime knowledge.

Campus Life

4.5

There are many events organised by the college every year. I am always curious to participate in the events because with this we get an opportunity to learn more about theatre, drama and acting. Bharat rang mahotsav is one such famous event organised by the institution which people from all over the country come to see.

Admission

The admission process was bit complicated. I have appeared for an aptitude test. Then I was shortlisted and attended a five day workshop within the institute premises. the final selection was made on the basis of my performance in the entrance test as well as the workshop. I was also given a scholarship of INR 6,000.

Faculty

4

NSD has the best faculty members. All the members have excelled their field and everyone is highly creative. I get to learn a lot from my faculty members. The knowledge they share with us everyday gives us a clear picture of being an artist. Also, some extension faculty members come to give extension lectures and many of them includes big name of Bollywood as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel like the curriculum is a little out dated and boring but due to a good faculty it makes the course more worthwhile The curriculum is very text based and less practical and more emphasis on bookish knowledge persists still .

As per I've heard, placements here are decent. I can't say for sure because I'm new here. About my plans, I am doing CFA side by side because I don't believe that a bachleors degree has any valur of it's own, one needs to pair it with something else.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a person who wants to build a strong foundation in both economics and mathematics, B.A.(Hons.) Economics was my first choice. This course not only provide valuable insights into how real world economics work, but it also has great career prospects. Students studying economics major actively take consulting, research, risk management as popular career choices. Since this is a practical course with a broad focus on mathematics, the difficulty level is from moderate to high.

Placement Experience:

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically
