It is a nice college. It gives opportunities to flourish in their respective fields. It motivates the students to learn new things and be productive. It has a good environment and the teachers friendly

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is for three years. It has various specialisations and it offers various subjects to master in. It is well designed as per the requirements of the undergraduate courses. The exam is conducted semester wise.

Placement Experience

As it is a government college, it does not offer any internship but we can so the internship if we wish to do so. The placement is quite good and the deserving candidates gets placed majority of the time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee charged is very minimal. It is affordable and inexpensive. The course for the three years are 5,380 INR. First year charge is 1,860 second year 1,760 and third year 1,760. It is feasible as compared to other colleges.

Campus Life

There are workshops conducted regularly to enhance the skills of the students. Even the seminars are organised to cater the curious minds of the students. It has hostel facility, library and various labs.

Alumni/Alumna

I am not in touch with any of the alumni but i have heard they are working well in their careers. Seniors are well behaved and they are polite and humble. They take care of us like an elder sibling and they don?t indulge in any illegal practices.

Admission

I filled the application form which is available online on the website of the college. It considers the marks of 12th standard or any qualifying exam equivalent to that conducted by west bengal education board or any national board.

Faculty

I am happy with the faculty members. They are understanding and possess a lot of knowledge of their subjects. They help us to cope up with the difficulties. They are strict at times but i think that?s ok.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

I want to know bengali literature and all type of poems and proses that's why I choose B.a. in bengali literature. According to me, my course helps me in doing Masters in Bengali. From the point of view of improvements, I feel that digital classes can be conducted in the class by leaving the theory classes. We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.

I applied for Malda college, Malda women's college, gour college, presidency college and samsi college, I got a confirmed admission from samsi college.
