Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well structured. The core subjects are taught from 2nd year onwards just like all other colleges. We have 2 semesters per year with quizzes, labs, class tests, and final exams per semester. Courses are designed for practical applications.
Placement Experience
The placement department handles all the placements scenario. As the institution is new, core companies are very less. Most of the seniors opt for IT or finance companies, while most give GATE for PSUs or further education.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I pay around 47K rupees anually, which is quite nominal considering all the lab and facilities provided. This fees covers the tution, admission, lab, wifi, and all other amenities. Considering everything, it was quite feasible for me as I didn't opt for hostel and mess(they require extra fees).
Campus Life
Every Engineering college mostly has the same gender ratio i.e., 1:8 and this is the same case here. College hosts frequent seminars and workshops. For extra-curricular, we are engrossed in following our passion( for me, it is photography). All sports can be found of your choice if you play any. We have our annual fests and sports meet, which are quite refreshing for our busy lives.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors will help you a lot all the time. It can be for college notes, doubts, and even internships. They will guide you so that you can grasp the internship scenario. The alumni network will help you a lot if you are with good acquaintances with them.
Admission
One doesn't need to appear for any kind of entrance test for admission in JSU. I joined coz it was pretty feasible for traveling from my house. I had more than the cut-off which is a minimum 50% aggregate. All I did was fill the application form in college and go through counseling.
Faculty
The faculty is quite good as they are central government organized. They are highly qualified and have few years of experience in teaching. You might find a mentor for your projects as there are some who actively research in their fields.
