The college is overall a great college to study in. The staff is great, the people are amazing and has a ragging free environment. The campus is huge and placed in a beautiful place. The hostel has an amazing view too.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is 4 years and 6 months long after which you have to do 1 year of internship at a hospital. The college has a hospital of its own and the practical lab sessions take place there too. The curriculum is vast and the exams happen at the end of every year.
Placement Experience
The college offers great job opportunities to the students for internships and during job selection. The students choose to intern in their final year at the hospital of the college itself but move out to other hospitals during recruitment.
College Events
The college organizes many events throughout the year. They conduct freshers, farewell, annual fest, holi, diwali, garba night, onam celebrations, etc. There are more formal events too such as workshops and medical camps.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the course is around 10 lakh a year which is 50 lakhs for 5 years. The fee is not very affordable. Although, the college has great facilities and hostel accommodation and cafeteria so it adds up.
Campus Life
The college conducts a lot of extra curricular activities for the students. There are workshops, fests, festivals, competitions, etc. The labs, sports complex, library, lifts, and other good facilities are provided by the college too.
Hostel Facilities
The college provides great hostel accommodation to the students coming from outside. The rooms are huge and two sharing. There is a personal bathroom in each room. The college has also provided them with a cleaning lady.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a student union started by the alumni and the seniors of the college. They have always helped the juniors and worked for the betterment of the college. They are nice and giving and always provide guidance.
Admission
The admission in the college is based on merit primarily. The eligibility criteria is that candidates must have passed 10+2 (with at least 50% in PCB) from a recognized university. Candidates have to give the either the NEET UG medical entrance test or the Kerala Medical entrance test to get on the merit list.
Faculty
The faculty of the college are medical professionals who have immense experience in the field. They are extremely knowledgeable and confident of their subjects and the students love them. The relationship between the students and teachers is fairly personal and friendly.
