Course Curriculum Overview

The normal day at our college is definitely a bit tiring but the MBBS course curriculum is designed in a very good manner which help the students to focus on the education rather than being tensed about the syllabus. There are perfect lab sessions also.

Placement Experience

The college authorities provides placement facilities for the students after they have done graduating for the course. There are internship opportunities also available after the fifth year of the MBBS course.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The tuition fees for MBBS course is 616000 lacs rupees only. The total expenditure which you will have to pay for their MBBS degree course in this college is 30 lakh rupees only. According to me the fee structure is really very affordable and can be paid by any of the middle class student.

Campus Life

There are a lot of sports activities available at our college. A multipurpose playground is available within the campus. There are separate courts for basketball, soccer, volleyball, table tennis and cricket. There are also indoor games facilities available for the students to enjoy their visit at the college.

Hostel Facilities

Very good hostel accommodation facilities are provided to the students of the college. There are separate hostel buildings available for both the genders. Total six hostel buildings are provided. Two hostel buildings are provided for the boys and four hostel buildings are provided for the girls. All of the hostel buildings are at walking distance from the campus of the college.

Admission

The students can apply for the admission by visiting the official website of the college or by visiting the campus of the college. The main eligibility criteria for applying for the MBBS degree in this college is to first pass the national eligibility entrance test which is held at an all India level. The other eligibility criteria is that the candidates must have completed 17 years of age to apply for the entrance examination. After few days the college authorities publish a merit list with the names of the students who are selected by the administration system.

Faculty

The professors who are teaching about the MBBS degree course in our college are really very educated and qualified. Some of the faculty members are also PhD holders which makes them very educated. The behaviour of the teachers is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
