Amazing college, best teachers.

The university only knows how to manufacture the best of doctors. The faculty we are under is one of the best country wise, the labs and banks are full of the latest equipment and technology which are taught to us. We have full knowledge on how to operate the latest machines. The overall environment is very friendly and we all help each other to grow and prosper. I am glad to be a part of the world class institute.

The course comprises 4.5-5 years where we need to study from a basic human physiological level to anatomical, the complexity seems to increase as we get promoted to the next year.I am currently studying for 3rd year, where we study 5-6 subjects per semester. The last year would only be for an internship where we would be trained to be a professional doctor.Internals and externals are taken each semester and year respectively to know the status of knowledge a doctor holds. The books are provided by the college and are easily available at the library too, the study is tough but if you really hold a passion to become a doctor, it will be worth it.

There are many placement opportunities after the internship year. The college has its own hospital where 70% of the students are placed after giving the entrance and interview. Many other private hospitals and nursing homes come to take interviews, on the basis of your marks and merit you will get placed. Every year, 95% students get placed and the rest might opt for further studies. You may also open a private clinic where you can practise MBBS.

Our college hosts a lot of events including various festivals and sports functions. Diversity of people makes us taste every festival in its true sense. Dussehra and Durga Pooja are the most hyped events with lots of treat stalls and games.The annual sports meet enables us to show our sports talent and we all play together, compete and party after the event. The parade of talent is triumphed in the form of these events. Also many blood donation camps and frequent excursion visits to rural areas are organised to practise the profession.

The fees are paid annually i.e. INR 1,75,000. Total fees for 5 years is approximately INR 8,00,000, inclusive of all facilities and technology usage, hospital exposure and environment. This does not include hostel fees or registration fees.It is a high paid college but totally worth the exposure it is providing. The placement packages would let you cover the whole fees in 1.5 years of practise.

The atmosphere of the university is beautiful including a lot of gardens and playgrounds. The buildings are designed beautifully with the best infrastructure.We have huge multi purpose and auditorium halls which are spacious and well maintained. The labs and libraries are full of the latest technology and books. They both never run out of supplies. Ceremonies like freshers, farewells and festivals are hosted and well performed.The music and dance rooms are separately made where we can give time to our hobbies.

Hostel buildings are nicely constructed with the separated boys and girls hostel. It is fully secured with security guards and under warden surveillance making it a safe and soundable place. The mess timings are strict and the food given is healthy and tasty. The gates of the hostel are closed sharp at 10PM daily to not let students go outside at night. The washrooms and other utilities are well designed and cleaned. Overall the environment of the hostel is friendly and helpful.

The annual alumni meet takes place at the end of each year where our ex senior doctors come and address us about their work and experience. They guide and help us to grow in our respective area of interest. Some of them are already working in the hospital while some are studying further, we get the perception from both of the groups. All the seniors are very humble and helpful, they are always polite to the juniors and also give their piece of advice professionally. I personally am under one senior doctor who is an alumni of the same college.

I gave my NEET UG examinations after passing the CBSE boards for 12th. The NEET result was declared and I got rank 100 all over india. After the result, I applied to the college via online mode where you need to fill an application form and give the verified documents. The form is for INR 1,000. After the assigned authority verified the documents, I was called to the college for counselling session and later registered myself for the MBBS course. The screening process was mainly dominated by the NEET score and rank. The total number of seats are 150 for MBBS.

The head of the department is very cooperative and a charismatic man who knows how to interact with junior doctors and make them comfortable around. All the other teachers are noble doctors themselves who are easily approachable at the time of any doubt. They are all humble and give support emotionally too. The other working staff is helpful too and always teach you good things for the future. They all are fluent in english language which makes communication much easier.
