Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Having studied in this college in this college I have understood the the number of specializations that are offered to the students. since Ayurveda is a vast subject apt courses have been curated keeping in mind the period of study for such courses. There is a Bachelor's degree in Ayurveda that can be obtained in 5years and six months. after which you can pursue Masters in the same which will be of three years. There is an opportunity to pursue a post doctorate as well in Ayurveda which consists of 14 subjects that the student can take up which will be of two years. students who want to pursue diploma in ayurveda will have a two years and six months course to pursue. and those who want to certify themselves for the panchkarma course can take up the four months training. Each of these courses provide ample opportunity to let the student to study in depth the subject and amenities that cater to facilitate the progress of the students who have taken up the courses.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratios are diverse people have enrolled into the college. the diversity of student speaks for itself in terms of religion, gender and orientation. there has never been any kind of demarcation to make any students feel out of place. The atmosphere is friendly and the huge campus with so many amenities helps the students to bond and participate in various activities together. it also builds a sense of team spirit and oneness that can only be picked up in conducive atmosphere the college provides.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very friendly and is very encouraging for every new batch that joins the stream. They have made an effort to reach out to the new students who are very new the whole environment. The seniors are gracious enough to provide ample support in dealing with the life and the course guiding each student with their experiences and giving them ample feedback as how to get through the course with out any hassles.

Admission

The admission process isn't elaborate and like all students have to apply to the college based on the NEET undergraduate score and for those who are applying for the post graduate course would have to have to present his/her NEET post graduate score to obtain admission all this plus an eligibility criteria which isn't very elaborate but a very smooth sailing if you qualify for joining this prestigious college for your ayurvedic studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers all the modern and traditional aspects of pharmacy. But the real world application seems a bit weak. There's less time spent of product making, introduction to industries, communication skills. But they do prepare you academically for higher education and compititive exams. Teaching methods could have been better rather than just recommending books and writing notes on board. Exams are held frequently. Students have to prepare for both theory and practicals including vivas. I chose this course and college because I had to stay here with my parents and b pharm seemed like a good career option.
