Course Curriculum Overview
The BAMS course is of 5.5 years the last 1 year is of internship 6 months in an allopathy hospital and 6 months in an ayurvedic hospital. The faculty here is very good, very calm, and helpful and we have all the modern equipment which is beneficial for our studies either in the context of ayurveda or modern.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for the first year is 42020 for the second and third years it is approximately 27000 each and for the final year it is 34000. We can get scholarships under the Ayush scheme after certain criteria of it. There are many jobs for students on campus so students get exposure to the field also many companies give packages on the basis of percentage criteria.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good and enjoyable. We have a huge campus of almost 20 acres something full of facilities and greeneries. Every year we have an annual fest known as aagaj. And freshers party named as roobaru. And a sports fest is also organized every year in the month of jan-feb, known as Tarang in which all types of sports like cricket, kabaddi, chess, volleyball, football, badminton, and many more are held. NIA is a national institute and many international seminars and research work are always held here from time to time.
Admission
I am a student in BAMS's first year at the National Institute of Ayurveda de novo University, Jaipur. Currently NIA, Jaipur is the top ayurvedic University in the country either in terms of facilities or cut off it is the top college in India and the first choice of the candidates when it comes to opting for the bams as a career.
