Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum of the whole course is quite engaging and beneficial. All the aspects of ayurvedic medicine and treatments and covered. Samhitas are in the syllabus because they are the fundamentals of ayurveda. Internal exams are held on college level. Apart from that, the main or the university exams are held once in a year.

Internships Opportunities

3

As this is a private college ( Shekhawati Ayurved Medical College,Pilani) no stipend is provided to any student. The college has its own hospital which has great services. So students can complete their intership from there.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the BAMS course is two lakhs per annum. And the duration of this course is four and a half years of academics and one year of internship. Hence the total fees is nine lakhs. There's a scholarship programme for the students of scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. They will get 1,25000 per year if they have scored above 60% in that year.

Campus Life

3

Basically, there aren't much activities being held. The parties, namely freshers and farewell party are held. Apart from that sports week is also organised. But that's also mot regular. In addition, no club or social group is being run by any student group.

Admission

First of all, the college cuty is located nearby my city. That was the first reason to choose this college over the others. Secondly, the classes are regular and the number of students selected in pg exams is also good. That's why, I chose this college.

Faculty

3

The faculties are very helpful and approachable. But the ratio of students to faculty is lot more as there are lesser teachers. Exams are neither too easy nor too hard. But, many students have back logs just because of their carelessness.

Night Life

1

There are no such things in the college. The hostels are located very far from the college campus. Hence it is not possible to go to college at night. Plus, the college is closed after the classes are over. So no one is allowed to enter after that.
