Course Curriculum Overview

It is a two year programme divided into four semesters. The course is very well designed, as we also interact with patients, exposure to advance diet therapy, research work, a well defined clinical and scientific approach to nutrition.

Placement Experience

Internships are provided as part of the masters program in applied nutrition. The internships were aimed at providing us a clinical exposure to the field and gaining some practical experience. We were also taught how to interact with the patients, how to deal with them and son.

College Events

Several Events are carried out such as world environment day, world nutrition day etc. Anniversaries of the big figures in the field of nutrition science are also marked and in certain occasions they are celebrated. Several Indian Nutritionists who made it big in India are from NIN, Hyderabad.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is overall quite affordable. The fee for the entire semester comes out to be over 20,000 Rupees per academic year. The tuition fee divided up is as follows - Rs.20,000/- per year and Rs.10,600/- (central quota) and Rs.9,600/- (State quota).

Campus Life

The culture of NIN is very education-focused. Several research symposiums, national and international seminars are carried out throughout the year, with several dignitaries from all over the world attending and carrying out workshops and discussing research. There are gyms and the campus is very large. Most students are very friendly and nice.

Alumni/Alumna

There is an alumni network which is very active and they often attend events in the college. Many great figure in the field of medicine and nutrition have their roots in NIN and they often attend events and even organise events.

Admission

The process of getting into the Masters program is not very difficult. There is an entrance exam that is not very difficult if you know the basic and have worked hard. There is a counselling session after which admission is confirmed.

The faculty is very highly qualified and always do their best to impart their knowledge. every professor is very experienced and always open to discuss about any research. Many have international and national affiliations with institutions across India and abroad.

Placement Experience:

Very few students get placed every year. The highest package is 380000, and the average package is 450000. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. My plans are going to foreign for further education.

Admission:

Remarks:

State of art campus and well experienced faculty with good placements. Our college gives us the opportunity of learning almost everything you like be it finance,be it Graphic design you can bey much attend whichever class you want. most importantly there is no attendence and the lectures are recorded.

Entrance Preview:

Entrance is based on your entrance examination which CAT, it was a full year of preparation to score more than 97% to be with the best students from India. And as i said, hard work paid off, can't ask for anything else.my father wanted me to study in this college so basically i choose this college.

Hi sir, i saw the prospectus of NIN there 1lakh fee was mentioned for Msc nutrition. Is it management fee? Pls confirm what is the annual fees if we go through councelling.

NIN Hyderabad offers M.Sc Applied Nutrition as well as M.Sc Sports Nutrition courses. The total course fee for the Applied Nutrition course is INR 191500 and for the Sports Nutrition course is INR 197500. Since NIN Hyderabad is a public insitute, it does not have management quota.
