Remarks

Neither good nor bad. College is good in my point of view. As I'm a regular student I don't have any excuses about my Remember one thing if you will focus on your aim college will offer you but if you don't want to be focused you may find some difficulties in the world.

Course Curriculum Overview

The lectures for my course are 25 in number. With an average age of 25 to 45 years. All teachers are highly qualified and experienced. They cleared the concepts very well and makes the subjects easy by taking other practice exams. Healthy Environment is provided in my department. Every doubt and queries are cleared. All teaching staff is supportive. All requirements are fulfilled by the department. The course faculties are good enough to provide education to students. The infrastructure and labs are updated with latest equipment to provide students the latest technology. The college campus is very clean and every place is providing the feel of peace.

The recruitment is based on merit and project presentation. The high merit students get qualified for high salary company.

Fees and Financial Aid

In our college fees structure is very less and the education of our PGMCOE college is outstanding. So it is relevant for all backward categories. Also, the scholarship is provided in our college for every category of students.EBC is provided for OPEN category students having yearly income tax less than 8 lac/-.SC category has 5000/- fees so it is very beneficial of our college. Also, the OBC category is provided by the scholarship.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is very good. The college follows trends of modern society and gives us a better platform to learn in a good way. The computer labs are awesome with a healthy and peaceful environment. Wifi is there, we have a big library, all the equipment is present in the lab. We have a big ground. We also have a canteen where we get yummy fresh food. Students come here from other states also. There is no tolerance about gender, religion, language, skin, and also economic status. The student learns equality. There is no politics.

Hostel Facilities

No, I don't opt, but The hostel infrastructure is very good. There is a large number of rooms in the hostel. The food provided in the hostel is very good and fresh. The food is also healthy for the students. There are different types of food every day. The management of the hostel is also nice

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

I had applied to only a few colleges which include COEP which is a Govt. college itself and the second one is MIT college of engineering which is a private college in Pune Maharashtra and the third one is my college in which I am currently pursuing my B.E degree in the fields of Information Technology. I didn't take any Quota because I'm in a general category itself. Very good college.

I admitted through MHTCET criteria. College is not so far from my hometown. I want to regular with up-down transportation from my home. Fees are in my budget. It has good facilities and faculty. The staffs are also good. Good things- 1. The college has a big playground. 2.have a good library and labs. 3.diversity in students. 4.24 hours free wifi 5.hightech server rooms 6.facilitate mechanical workshop Bad things- 1.drinking water is not available at college you have to go to the canteen for it. 2.less trees on the ground The admission process was simple. When the merit list release you have to submit documents at the college in which you have selected for.after submitting documents you have to go through there processes based on the college system if it is autonomous or other.
