Remarks

this is the best college in India for civil engineering. the only way to get in the b.tech program is the JEE advanced examination. this best for civil engineering and have every facility. after the exam, you can make counseling on josaa website.

Course Curriculum Overview

because I want to be civil engineer this is my personal interest.there is topmost faculty member studied from abroad like Stanford mit etc. there is a very fewer girls ratio its around 1:8. they teach on both projectors as well as on blackboards. and gave everything for practical. IIT Kanpur academic is a little bit tough than other IIT's. In one semester generally, there is two test 1mid sem exam and 1 end sem exam.

Internships Opportunities

mostly software companies visit for an internship. like Microsoft, Oyo, ola, etc. the professor also give projects to the student.

Placement Experience

Generally in 4th-year students got placement some get PPO when they do their internship in 3rd year. world top most companies visited like Microsoft Facebook ola uber Infosys etc. generally, the highest package is 1.5 crore abroad. and the average package is 13 LPA. around 70 to 80 % of student s get placed. after getting my degree I will try for UPSC.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee structure is very nice first it was base on your category and income for sc st it free for a general who has more income it is around 2.5 LPA but there is a lot of scholarship like donar, mcm,fbm etc. you can get semester exchange programs abroad college.

Campus Life

there are 3 fest sport fest udghose, cultural fest antragini, tech fest techriti all fest are grand around 1.5 crore invest in every fest and approximately 300 colleges participate in these from all over India. there is a pk Kelker library where is a lot of books which you need most. and a large classroom around 500 students can sit together. all sports facilities with coaches for all sports. there is a lot of clubs run by students gymkhana like music, dance, aeromodelling, programming, robotics, etc.

Hostel Facilities

1 room which has a fan bed Almira study table chair etc on every 2 days sweeper clean your room. I think here we get the best food from any other college. on your first day, you will get your room because it already allotted you. all students live in campus hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

Admission is through jee advance.

Interview Experience

for admission, we have to clear jee advance. which held every year in June but for giving jee advance you have to clear jee main. which held every year 2 times January and march. the question paper contains a deep knowledge of 11th 12th class topics.

Masters in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2023-2035

Elegibility is to have a btech degree in the same stream and qualified GATE exam (graduate aptitude test for engineers) with good Score. Applocation form can be founded on the website of gate exam. Application fees is 1700 per paper. Application form is filled in the month of September and exam occurs in February first week. I have not availed any reservation. Exam occurs once every year and not difficult. Problem Solving approach and solving PYQs and giving test series suffice for good score.
