Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is very much based on the NIFTEM curriculum here. It is apt for the field of study and faculty members are also experienced and qualified of the subject matter. Exams are taken in more than 3 shifts during midterms. During endsems it is taken in 2 shifts, morning and afternoon. They are easy to pass.

Placement Experience

2

Campus placement is not that good. Hardly 2-3 companies come here for foodtech. But there are job opportunities for this course. It is a growing field. Outside the campus, if applied in any company, there are chances of selection based on the skills and knowledge one has related to the field

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Fees structure: 80,000 in first year 75,000 2nd year onwards till 4th year Scholarship schemes are also there. Based on 12th %, merit based scholarship is there. If you have scored 90 or above % there is 100% fee waiver. 80-90% gets 50% fee waiver. 70-80% get 25% fee waiver. There is also siblings scholarship scheme and also disability scholarship scheme. International students also get scholarship.

Campus Life

4

There is an annual fest called Fiesta held every year in the month of feb or march. In that fest, many events take place, related to sports, games, cultural, etc. Many clubs are also there, namely literary, sports, music, cultural, etc. overall with time, the clubs are gaining popularity and now frequent events takes place

Hostel Facilities

3

I only lived for a year in hostel, then i changed to pg. But hostel is also good with big spacious rooms. Although food is not of that good quality and standard. There are common washrooms in hostel so it gets really dirty and smelly by the end of the day. Although everyday cleaning takes place.

Admission

This college was near to my hometown and many of my cousins are passout from here. Moreover this was the only pvt college in up that was offering btech to pcb students as well so that is shy i chose this college. The admission process requires filling the admission form online or offline. Then appearing for the entrance test. Once cleared, then councelling begins and then the admission is finalised

Faculty

4

Faculty members are helpful. They are always active and put efforts into teaching and mentoring. Girls to boys ratio is almost equal in my course. Faculty to student relationship is also good, they are more like friends than faculty members although they are strict at times. There are 2 midterm exams in 1 semester and then one end semester exam.
