Course Curriculum Overview
The Faculties of iit Kanpur are very approachable so are my course faculties. I like the course content, so many opportunities for research students. Institute should give a break after mid mid-semester exams instead of that they continue classes which are very overwhelming. The difficulty level always remains unexpected.
Internships Opportunities
Jguar a car company came to recruit students for intern role, Master card, JP morgan, SBI, Flipkart etc. These companies offers a software role. For getting hired by the company fir we have to clear the test taken by them and the 3 round of interview.
Fees and Financial Aid
total fees per semester is 40000 including mess bill and electric bill, for per year it will be 80000. this is for ST, SC ctaegories, for the general and obc students the fees per year is around 200000. For ST and Sc category Fbm scholarship provided around 70k for other kota merit scholarship provided based on grades. the every fees keeps increasing.
Campus Life
Antaragini, the biggest cultural fest of IIT kanpur, Techkriti, Asias bigeest technical fest and Udgosh indias biggest sports fest organised by IIT Kanpur. IIT Kanpur provides club for many different type activities, Dance club, music club, sports club, book club etc. run by students itself. In different clubs their is different posts for students like secratory, organizer etc.
Admission
After getting the results in hand I had applied for iit delhi iit bombay iit guwahati like all the IIT'S couse all IIT's are good but preference wise because some IIT's are very good like IIT kanpur itself. In first preference I got IIT Guwahati so I went for another round result and I got IIT Kanpur. For admission into IIT first one should clear the JEE exam after that JEE advance with good rank so that you can get into your priority college.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio in iit kanpur is 1:16. The faculties are very approachable. Appu Singh Faculty in BSBE department. Ilike the most about him is his grading system and attendance policy. Amitabh bandopadya. The main exams per semester include one mid semester exam and one end semester exam, apart from this faculties can keep extra quizes how many they want they can keep.The passing and failing criteria depends upon the faculty itself but offcourse if we do not study we will get fail.
