The college is situated in a good atmosphere. It is near to the airport. The faculties are also with good behavior.

It is an affiliated college under Kannur University. Comparing to private collage fee is less. Also providing scholarships to students who deserve it

Fresher's day, a day for newcomers make the day so memorable for students. This is scheduled in the month of July-august. Union day, the inauguration of the college union. After the month of August. Annual day and arts day are also there.

The course and it's syllabus is not that difficult, but for me biochemistry was a bit hard compared to Microbiology, as the subject was more of theory than practical. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram. Exams are not that tough.
