Remarks
Overall our college is good. It is situated near to manyatha tech park. The college has a very good and eco-friendly campus. The faculty members are very friendly and are willing to help you at any point in time. The main aspect of college is academics. The only issue with college is that the college does not have a spacious playground and the library is not updated with the latest books. The college provides admission through management as well as government quota (that is KCET and comedk). Scholarships and bank loans are also provided for the study who wants to avail it. The fee per year for the management quota is around one lakh fifty thousand (approx). And for government quota it's usually less.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course that I'm doing is BE in computer science. The reason why I choose this course is that as a tech enthusiastic I wanted to explore more about how the technology would change the world. The faculty to student ratio in our college is around 1:60. The faculty members are very friendly. The teaching methods used here are also good and up to date. Most of the faculty members have done their masters. The term exam is based on VTU procedures. The college is under the VTU university. Usually, the exams are conducted on time including the internal assessment exams.
Placement Experience
The college provides campus placements in the final year that is in the 8th semester. Most of the IT companies and a few MNC's visit the college. The placements in the city computer science department are very good compared to other departments.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee in the college is around one and a half lakh for the students who get admitted through management quota. The college also provides various scholarships also. The campus interviews usually take place in the final year.
Campus Life
The college has a very nice and eco-friendly campus. The seniors are very friendly and interactive. The college conducts an annual fest with various events. The library is not up to date and needs to be improved. Classrooms are also not so comfortable and spacious but still, it is manageable. Various sports events are conducted in the college which includes cricket, football basketball, volleyball, etc. Inter department, as well as university-level competitions, are also conducted.
