Remarks

Admission process of this college is by JEE mains and as well as 12th marks basis. But 12th marks basis admission is only applicable for Punjabi students. First time listened about this college then I feel it will be a nice college but it is my mistake this is also a average college, because very few facility members are good.

I'm a electrical engineer. Because I'm interested in electrical work. First of all I want to say some faculty members of my college are good and remaining members are average and also some person don't know how to teach.

I'll get internship in next semester and I m working on project how to control the road accident by using sensor to control the the speed of vehicles.

Placement Experience

After 6th semester students become eligible for placements. There are many company like mahindra, infosys, cybage, arora, etc comes and select eligible person. I think 4 lakhs is average package of this college and approx 40 percent students getting placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Somebody say this is a government college but I feel this is purely private college because fee of this college is very high approx I expend 80000 per semester and also no any scholarships are available for other state students.

Campus Life

My college arrange annual fest as well athletic, mean every year in February/march. Here is a big library and many of the books are available for sporting purpose. This college is super because every sport are available Indoor as well as outdoor both.

Hostel Facilities

In my college year basis hostel divided but 1,2,3 year students got not single room they live two or three persons in each room. And also the meal quality is not good. This is purely vegetarian college and also they gives only Punjabi dishes every day. Pg is also available outside of the college and also I suggest hostel is costly with respect to pg.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Interview Experience

I think in this day main topic of group discussion is how to control the economy of India and also how population affect the Indian economy.

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

1) I only applies to Guru nanak dev engineering college ludhiana and Lovely professional university Phagwara . As this college was nearest to my home . It is. Also one the most popular college in Punjab. It is most affordable college . I didn't applied to any other college . The admission here was from 2 rounds of open counseling and I got admission in 2 nd round. The cutoff for my course was about 85%. There was no such exam as entrance exam .
