Remarks

Because it was closer to my house. It's a good college with many courses. Even though have less recognization outside C.G. In my dept. I got good teachers, support, and very good educators. The environment is very friendly. The admission process is merit-based.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course because of its demand in the medical world in the fields of research, etc. My course was Microbiology.teachers where very effective and talented.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience

No placement facility is there. They do not give any recommendations for placements. Although had organized many seminars and workshops for the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

They have a scholarship for low-income families. But not for merit students. There was always a fee hike from 3000 to 4000 every year.

Campus Life

3.5

The Camp environment was very friendly. With canteen. Clubs where they're of different types and college trips were also organized by our teachers and a personal level also.

I choose just because my mom want me to do this . I Don't think that much about future... I don't think they need any improvement on teaching they are absolutely great. The timeing is good and the difficulty level is fine great for students.

New session is scheduled to start from August. And during last of sep there is 1st class test which is of 20 marks, then during nov. Last 2nd class test which is also of 20 marks takes place..then after a break of 7-10 days ,1st semester is scheduled.

I am doing bsc cs ,the course is not so tough but you have to pay total attention towards your course because many people get fail or get supplementary on their first year. So you have to focus towards the studies.

Life at science college Raipur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for a BSc in mathematics with computer science as one of the core subject. As the computer is highly demanded subject for placements. Faculties are not that good, some professors are good but some are very rude and doesn't even teach well. Fcaulty student ratio is very low. Almost around all faculty members have Phd degree so they all are very experienced. They teach well and clear doubt. But few teachers don't teach well so it depends on your luck which teacher you get. Semester exams take place in every six months, studying for semester exams is not difficult, study your class notes and do past 5-7 years paper whole heartedily and you will ace the exams. Yes but checking of the answer sheets is very strict so make sure you write well.

Good opportunities are there if you know how to avail

Remarks:

The college needs some improvement in infrastructure and faculties. More experienced faculties should be introduced and faculties of other subjects apart from CS should be highly experienced too. Overall, it is a good University.
